Earn rebates to go green

24 February 2009 No Comment

Remodeling a house or a room may be your way into getting green rebates. Green rebates are incentives or money given to people who use eco-friendly products and appliances in their homes. Green rebates vary in every state, but all are given to encourage more people to be more environment-friendly.

Some state governments are focused mostly on decreasing the greenhouse gas emissions from cars. Some are focused on using renewable energy as a primary source of energy in the home. Rebates are given to people who switch to environment-friendly appliances, from bulbs to shower heads, to television. Whatever the cause, there are different rebates to go green.

Companies like PG&E offers cash rebates to customers who purchase appliances from Energy Star. And there are also rebates for switching to green cars. Green cars include those electric and hybrid cars, and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles. Green cars are much less pollutive than conventional vehicles.

These green rebates are another reason for people to be more encouraged to become green. Going green is having tenfold benefits. You save money, either you save on taxes or get money for switching to environment-friendly stuff, you get to save the environment, you get healthier, and a lot more. Going green has never been this fun.
